Job summary

Aerotek in Kent, OH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This permanent, fully onsite role focuses on setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components per engineering blueprints.

You will program at the machine, calibrate tooling, and ensure dimensional accuracy while following safety guidelines. Team collaboration and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC lathe experience.
• Ability to set up and program CNC machines from blueprints.
• Proficient in using G&M codes and Mastercam.
• Knowledge of Johnford machines and lathe operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision components from engineering blueprints.
• Perform complete machine setups including tooling and calibration.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow safety protocols while working with CNC equipment.
• Maintain organized storage and accurate distribution of finished parts.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Program at the machine and assist in Stock Room, Assembly, and Shipping.
