Job summary

Integrity Trade Services is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer in Wisconsin to design and run programs for complex parts. The role requires setup, verification, and operation of CNC machinery, reading blueprints, and ensuring tight tolerances with proper fixturing.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of machinist experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop accurate CNC programs for new and repetitive jobs.
• Set up, check programs and operate CNC machines to meet tolerances.
• Read drawings, select fixturing, and secure workpieces.
• Calibrate fixturing and reference points; adjust tooling as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and optimize tooling/sequence for efficiency.

CNC Machinist/Programmer - $28-$35/hr DOE!

This position is a direct hire opportunity!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a CNC Machinist/Programmer for our client in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Hours

• 1st shift: 6:30pm - 2:30pm or open to 4'10s
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm or open to 4'10s
• 3rd shift: 10:30pm - 6:30am

Responsibilities

• Consistently able to design and develop accurate programs in a timely manner.
• Ability to run both new and repetitive jobs efficiently.
• Setup, check programs and operate numerically controlled machine tools and/or CNC machining equipment to perform a complex series of progressive machining operations to meet precise tolerance and finish requirements.
• Understand program format and fixturing. Able to arrange mount and secure workpiece in absence of fixturing.
• Set stop; Calibrate fixturing to appropriate reference points.
• Install programs and/or cards in consoles reader and correlates machine position with controls.
• Manually cycle machine through an operation sequence to check fixture and work positions, tooling clearances, speeds, feeds, etc.
• Adjust machine or console to correct deviations from program specifications.
• Recognize reports and correct errors.
• Recommend tooling and operational sequence to assist in developing practical programming for new and unusual machining requirements.
• May set up for and instruct machine operators of lower classification.
• Able to troubleshoot and diagnose operating difficulties and make adjustments.
• Work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications.

Requirements for CNC Machinist/Programmer

• 5-7 years of machinist experience.
• Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and perform geometric, algebraic and trigonometric calculations.
• Accredited apprenticeship or equivalent training together with considerable experience in machine programming, numerically controlled machines, tools or CNC machining equipment and operations.
• Must be able to perform metric conversions.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications, routings.
• G & M code experience.
• Experience and controversial controls a plus.
• Must be able to calculate own feeds and speeds.
• Must be able to show good understanding of geometric tolerancing.
