Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Machinist in Traverse City, MI to read drawings, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes from Okuma, Haas and Mazak, and ensure parts meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of CNC experience, ability to read G and M codes, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role offers a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule and potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings for parts to be machined.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes from Okuma, Haas and Mazak.
• Verify finished measurements with calipers and micrometers to spec.
• Machine, drill, shape, grind, and polish parts to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, team-focused environment.

Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in tanker truck equipment, is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing operations supporting the production of high-quality equipment. Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $20-22/hr based on experience

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday, overtime sometimes available and encouraged.

What's the Job?
