Job summary

Manpower is seeking a CNC Machinist for a Traverse City, MI manufacturing client. The role focuses on reading drawings, setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, and ensuring parts meet exact specifications.

You’ll work 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime potential, and contribute to a clean, safe shop environment using Okuma, Haas, and Mazak machines. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay of $20–$22, enrollment in benefits after waiting period, and opportunities for skill

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of CNC machining experience
• Ability to read G, M, and conversational codes
• Proficiency setting up programs and operating CNC equipment from multiple manufacturers

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and lathes) from Okuma, Haas and Mazak
• Verify measurements using calipers, micrometers and other tools to ensure specs
• Machine, drill, shape, grind, and polish parts to meet quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Traverse City, MI

Pay Range: $20-22/hr based on experience

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday, overtime sometimes available and encouraged.
