DRT Holdings in Simpsonville, SC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components that meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC machining experience, multi-axis capability (2- to 5-axis), and strong GD&T/blueprint reading skills. Experience with aerospace materials and inspection tools is a plus.

Formación

• 3+ years CNC machining experience (setup and operation required).
• Multi-axis CNC experience (2, 3, 4, and 5-axis preferred).
• Aerospace or high-precision machining background strongly preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Experience holding tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better preferred).
• Skilled with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and inspection tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, collets, chucks, and machine offsets.
• Produce precision-machined components to tight aerospace tolerances.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Make offset adjustments and minor program edits to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Monitor tool wear and machining conditions for efficiency and consistency.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation.
• Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Simpsonville, SC. In this role, you will independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce high-precision aerospace components that meet tight tolerances and strict quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong CNC experience in a precision manufacturing environment, with the ability to machine small, complex components from materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other specialty alloys.
