Chromalloy in Carson City, NV is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment for aerospace components. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and quality with a Monday-Friday shift and potential nights; weekend work may be required. A $2-$4/hour shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, set up tooling, inspect using precision tools, and document production details while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Manufacture and repair precision aerospace components to tight tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Adjust tooling, feeds, and speeds to maintain quality.
• Complete required inspection and production documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and operate overhead cranes as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.

We're looking for a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment used to manufacture and repair critical aerospace components. This is a hands-on role where precision, quality, and attention to detail matter. Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends) | 10:30 PM-7:00 AM

Shift Differential: $2-$4/hour based on assigned workdays

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders
