Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturing client, is seeking a CNC Machinist in Solon, OH. This direct hire role offers a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, tuition assistance, and a stable 8:00 am–4:30 pm Monday–Friday schedule.

The position requires 3+ years of CNC machining, setup and operation of mills/lathes, GD&T reading, and G/M-code editing. You will train others, collaborate with engineering and quality, and contribute to continuous improvement through Lean

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• 3+ years CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to independently perform machine setups and adjustments.
• Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining processes.
• Experience editing G-code and M-code programs.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, GD&T callouts, and process sheets.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work offsets.
• Edit CNC programs at the machine as needed.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain production efficiency while ensuring part quality.
• Train and mentor entry-level machinists and operators.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain clean work areas.

This is a direct hire position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit, vacation, and compensation package upon hire.

Details:

• Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
• Pay: $30 + (potentially higher based on candidate requirements and experience)
