Job summary

Sonaspection is seeking a skilled machinist to operate manual lathes and mills, set up CNC equipment, and read blueprints. You will use micrometers, calipers, and gauges for inspection and support fixture design. The role requires 2-3 years of experience or schooling, basic maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience or schooling in machining.
• Manual lathe and milling experience.
• CNC setup for mill, lathe, multi-axis.
• EDM wire or sinker experience a plus.
• CAD/CAM experience a plus.
• Basic machine maintenance.
• Read drawings or simple sketches.
• Use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Understand fixturing design and use.
• Math skills: trigonometry and geometry a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work independently.

Responsibilities
