Job summary

Heat & Controls Limited in Pembroke, New Hampshire is seeking a skilled technician with experience in Manual Mill and Lathe operation. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and be proficient in reading blueprints and troubleshooting equipment issues.

• Experience sweeping in a mill head and vice.
• Understanding of feeds and speeds.

• Assist in troubleshooting equipment problems.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Proper use and understanding of various angle and radius gauges
• Able to complete forklift and overhead crane training
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment problems
• Proficient at reading blueprints and identifying possible errors on the prints
• Using Micrometers, Calipers, Depth Gauges etc.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with setup and operation of Manual Mill and Lathe
• Experience sweeping in a mill head and vice
• Experience compensating for runout on a lathe
• Set up jobs with or without documentation
• Understand Feeds and speeds
• Understand G/M codes
• Experience with broaching a plus
• Operation of Fanuc Control, Haas, or Hurco a plus
• Programming experience a plus
