Jobot in Ohio is seeking a detail-driven CNC Machinist to create parts that defend America. 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, about 45 hours weekly. You will read blueprints, program and operate Mazak CNC lathes, and inspect parts with precision gauges in a climate-controlled shop.

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and specifications.
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating Mazak CNC lathes.
• Ability to measure and inspect with precision gauges and tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and specifications.
• Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC Lathes.
• Measure and inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, indicators, CMMs, optical comparators, and other precision gauges.
• Troubleshoot issues.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve tooling challenges.
• Select appropriate metals and materials based on specifications, performance requirements, and material properties.
