Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Turning Machinist to join a high-precision manufacturing team in Cheshire, CT. The role involves setting up, operating CNC lathes/turning centers, and ensuring tight-tolerance components are produced to spec. Programming is optional depending on level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-7+ years of CNC machining experience, focusing on CNC turning/lathe work.
• Experience in metal stamping, automotive, aerospace, or medical preferred.
• Experience with CNC lathes/turning centers (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, etc.).
• Working knowledge of G-code programming and edits (preferred).
• Strong understanding of: Blueprint reading, GD&T, Tooling and cutting parameters.
• Ability to use precision inspection tools.

Job Details

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-7+ years of CNC machining experience, with a focus on: CNC turning / lathe work, High-precision or tight-tolerance manufacturing
• Experience in industries such as metal stamping, automotive, aerospace, or medical preferred
• Experience with CNC lathes/turning centers (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, etc.)
• Working knowledge of G-code programming and edits (preferred)
• Strong understanding of: Blueprint reading, GD&T, Tooling and cutting parameters
