Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in Anaheim, CA. You will set up and run CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality components, interpret complex drawings with GD&T, and ensure tight tolerances throughout production.

You will perform setups, tool changes, offsets, first article inspections, and continuous improvement efforts while collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience performing complete machine setups independently.
• Experience with multiple CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, Okuma, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
• Experience machining aerospace, medical, defense, automotive or precision components preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and first article inspections.
• Monitor production while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, indicators).
• Make tool wear adjustments and program edits at the machine when necessary.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Work with aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other metals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safety-focused work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, workholding, and cutting parameters.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to maintain close tolerances while meeting production goals.
