Accelera is seeking CNC Machinists across multiple experience levels for permanent, direct-hire roles in Northeast Ohio (Cleveland, Aurora, Stow). Positions include 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts with opportunities to work on mills, lathes and other precision equipment.

Roles emphasize programming knowledge, setup, inspection and continuous improvement within a team-focused manufacturing environment. All postings are direct-hire with manufacturing firms.

Formación

• Experience operating machining centers, lathes, or CNC mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools and inspection procedures.
• Knowledge of conversational programming or G-code/M-code is a plus.
• Experience with Mazak, Haas, Fanuc or Okuma CNC controls is helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Operate mills, lathes and other precision machining tools.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes and offsets for production.
• Analyze drawings and specs to guide work.
• Produce parts meeting tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Verify parts with calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Address machining challenges and optimize productivity.
• Conduct first-piece, in-process and final inspections to ensure quality.
• Track machine performance, efficiency and tooling conditions.
• Support safety and maintenance initiatives and collaborate with QA/production teams.

About the Role

We are currently facilitating connections for various established manufacturing firms throughout Northeast Ohio that are seeking CNC Machinists across a range of experience levels and shift schedules.

These roles are located in Cleveland, Aurora, and Stow, where you will support companies focused on engineered components, industrial equipment, and precision machining.

Whether you are a seasoned professional with programming and setup expertise or a hands-on operator eager to grow your skills, we have diverse openings available.

All roles are permanent, direct-hire positions with the manufacturing companies themselves, rather than temporary or contract work.

Core Responsibilities

While duties fluctuate based on the specific role and your background, you can expect to:

• Manage the operation of mills, lathes, and other precision machining tools.
• Execute machine setups, adjustments, tooling swaps, and offsets to ensure optimal production.
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specs to guide your work.
• Produce components that meet exact quality standards, tolerances, and dimensions.
• Verify finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to ensure high-quality output.
• Resolve machining challenges and perform adjustments to help maintain consistent productivity.
• Conduct first-piece, final, and in-process inspections to uphold quality standards.
• Track machine performance, production efficiency, and tooling conditions.
• Contribute to a safer working environment for the entire team by supporting maintenance and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with quality, engineering, and production teams to drive collective success.

Qualifications & Background

We welcome applicants with a wide range of CNC machining backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating machining centers, lathes, or CNC mills.
• Proficiency in machine adjustments, tooling, offsets, and CNC setup.
• Capacity to interpret blueprints and grasp machining tolerances.
• Familiarity with inspection procedures and precision measurement equipment.
• Experience working with precision-machined or close-tolerance parts.
• Knowledge of conversational programming, G-code, or M-code is an asset.
• Experience with CNC controls such as Mazak, Haas, Fanuc, Okuma, or similar systems is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude to ensure high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
