Express Employment Professionals in Johnstown, Ohio is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing operation. You will set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers while interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings to produce tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Machinist or related CNC roles
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Experience with precision measuring equipment
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
• Produce precision-machined parts that meet quality and dimensional standards
• Measure and inspect components using calipers, micrometers, gauges
• Perform machine offsets and tool changes
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
• Maintain production records and quality documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing best practices

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setup Technician, CNC Operator, or CNC Programmer
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tolerances, and quality requirements
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
