Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is partnering with a leading Aerospace Manufacturer in Long Island, NY. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to setup and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, hones, and grinders on high-precision components.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, perform precise inspections, and work with Engineering, Quality, Production, and NPI teams to ensure top quality and productivity. This role requires 5+ years machining experience and 3+ years CNC setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience.
• 3+ years of CNC setup and production experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with manual and CNC machining.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, hones, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
• Perform detailed dimensional inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, indicators, and other precision equipment.
• Run production while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity standards.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements.
• Create, repair, and maintain tooling, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and NPI teams.

CNC Machinist

Location: Hauppauge, NY

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $40-45 ** (Based on experience)

Adecco is partnering with a leading Aerospace Manufacturer in Long Island, NY. This is an opportunity for an experienced machinist to work on complex, high-precision components in a highly technical manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, hones, and grinders

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T

• Perform detailed dimensional inspections using micrometers, bore gages, height gages, indicators, and other precision equipment

• Run production while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity standards

• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements

• Create, repair, and maintain tooling, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools

What We're Looking For

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
