Job summary

JobSquad in Grass Lake, MI seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift, operating and programming large CNC milling machines on unique, non-production projects.

You will read blueprints, set up 5-axis dies, and troubleshoot tooling while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Proficiency with Fanuc/Heidenhain controllers and G-code is essential. Tools provided on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of machining experience preferred.
• Experience with 5-axis machining (3+2 axis experience is a must).
• Experience machining large dies or large fabricated components.
• Knowledge of G-code programming and controller-based programming.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controllers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with large mills (4-12 meters or larger) required.
• Defense or large fabrication machining experience is a plus.
• Must possess personal tools appropriate for the role (to a reasonable degree).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings.
