Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for Grand Rapids, MI on the B Shift (2:30 PM–12:30 AM). You will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce tight-tolerance parts for aerospace, medical, and commercial industries, using GD&T and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, first-piece and in-process inspections, tooling offsets, and troubleshooting quality issues. Candidates typically have 3+ years of CNC experience and exposure to Swiss lathes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• CNC setup and operation experience.
• Swiss lathe experience strongly preferred.
• Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Tornos, or similar experience is a plus.
• Strong blueprint, GD&T, and precision inspection skills.
• Aerospace, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing experience preferred.

We are hiring experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing precision machining operation producing tight-tolerance components for the aerospace, medical, and commercial industries.

What You’ll Do

CNC Machinist – B Shift

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and machining equipment

• Machine complex, tight-tolerance components

• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments

• Read blueprints and GD&T

• Complete first-piece and in-process inspections

• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
