Job summary

Wordwizard is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to work with advanced multi-axis equipment and produce precision medical device components. You will operate Mazak Integrex 100/200, Mazak Variaxis 5-Axis, Star Swiss-Type Lathes, and other multi-axis platforms across shifts.

Opportunities span 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. You will read blueprints and process docs, select tooling, verify parts with calipers/micrometers/indicators, and perform first-piece through final inspections while maintaining tight

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to independently setup and operate CNC equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, offsets, and machining fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC machining equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
• Select tooling and perform offset adjustments.
• Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Maintain tight tolerances and superior surface finishes.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve production efficiency.

CNC MACHINIST (Priority Role — multiple openings across shifts) Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour + shift differentials (2nd: +15%, 3rd: +30%) Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift Available

Whether your background is Mazak, Swiss, Haas, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Citizen, Tsugami, DMG Mori, Makino, or similar CNC equipment, we'd like to speak with you.

Equipment: Mazak Integrex 100 & 200 with lower turrets, Mazak Variaxis 5-Axis Machining Centers, Star Swiss-Type CNC Lathes, Advanced Multi-Axis Milling and Turning Platforms
