Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to program and optimize Swiss CNC lathes in Grand Rapids, MI. The role is in-person, full-time, with a salary range of $75,000 to $110,000 per year.

You will work with state-of-the-art equipment, read blueprints and GD&T, and collaborate with production and quality teams to meet aerospace and medical standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience programming Swiss CNC lathes.
• Proficiency in Esprit CAD/CAM.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining principles.
• Experience with aerospace and medical manufacturing requirements.
• A problem-solving, team-first mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Program and set up Swiss CNC lathes using Esprit CAD/CAM.
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for complex, tight-tolerance components.
• Optimize programs to improve cycle times, efficiency, and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime.
• Support and train operators, and lend a hand on the floor when needed.
• Partner with production and quality teams to meet aerospace and medical standards.

Grand Rapids, MI | In-Person | $75,000 - $110,000 /yr | Full-Time

A well established and growing precision machining company supplying world-class components to the commercial, aerospace, and medical industries is hiring an experienced CNC Programmer. You will program and optimize Swiss-style machines in a facility with state-of-the-art equipment and a team that cares about their people. Day shift, Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

What You’ll Do:

• Program and set up Swiss CNC lathes using Esprit CAD/CAM
• Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for complex, tight-tolerance components
• Optimize programs to improve cycle times, efficiency, and quality
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
• Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime
