CNC Machinist II

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate machines to produce high-quality precision parts, primarily using medical-grade plastics. This role involves reading blueprints, setting up jobs, inspecting work, and keeping production running smoothly with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and run CNC machines to manufacture parts based on detailed instructions and blueprints
Use measuring tools, including vision systems and CMM, to check the quality of parts
Install fixtures and tooling, and adjust offsets as needed
Perform first-piece inspections and make changes to tooling, setup, or programs if needed
Load and manage programs through the DNC system
Maintain clean and organized work areas, including machine fluid levels and chip removal
Communicate with team members and supervisors to keep production on track
Monitor tooling wear and make replacements when necessary
Qualifications:
3+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent technical training
Comfortable with job setups and basic troubleshooting
Able to read and understand blueprints and use standard measuring tools
Familiar with CMM and vision inspection systems
Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional machining or manufacturing coursework is a plus
