CNC Machinist II

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate machines to produce high-quality precision parts, primarily using medical-grade plastics. This role involves reading blueprints, setting up jobs, inspecting work, and keeping production running smoothly with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and run CNC machines to manufacture parts based on detailed instructions and blueprints

• Use measuring tools, including vision systems and CMM, to check the quality of parts

• Install fixtures and tooling, and adjust offsets as needed

• Perform first-piece inspections and make changes to tooling, setup, or programs if needed

• Load and manage programs through the DNC system

• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including machine fluid levels and chip removal

• Communicate with team members and supervisors to keep production on track

• Monitor tooling wear and make replacements when necessary

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent technical training

• Comfortable with job setups and basic troubleshooting

• Able to read and understand blueprints and use standard measuring tools

• Familiar with CMM and vision inspection systems

• Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Additional machining or manufacturing coursework is a plus
