Cooper Steel, Inc. in Alabama is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC equipment, producing machined parts while maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping accurate records.

You will work Friday through Sunday, 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a $2 weekend shift premium; duties include planning machining, verifying tolerances, tool setup, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Responsabilidades

• Promote safety and quality culture across the shop.
• Plan machining by reading work orders and specs.
• Set up tools, offsets, and reference points; prepare equipment.
• Load stock and verify settings with measurements.
• Maintain safe operations and document actions.
• Perform daily equipment inspections.
• Willing to work overtime.
