Job summary

Eaton is seeking a CNC Machining Team Lead for the Camarillo, CA, facility on 2nd shift. Core hours are 2:15pm–10:45pm, with a $30.00–$32.50 hourly rate plus a $2.00 shift differential.

This direct-hire role emphasizes leading machinists, enforcing quality and safety, and coordinating with multiple teams to meet schedules. The role involves hands-on work, supervision, training, and problem solving on Haas, Mazak, and other equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years' experience in machine setups and operation, including CNC and/or manual machining.
• 1+ year of experience leading, training, or mentoring machinists.
• No relocation benefit; Camarillo, CA area preferred.
• Export-controlled information access required (U.S. person).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day machine shop operations; assign work and ensure schedules are met.
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues; train employees on equipment and methods.
• Operate CNC and manual equipment; support prototypes and low-volume jobs.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Planning; ensure safety and quality standards.
