Eaton Group in Syracuse is seeking a NC/CNC Machine Operator on the 3rd shift. Core hours are 10:30pm to 6:30am with a base hourly rate of $22.52 plus a $1.50/hour shift premium.

The role involves operating multiple CNC machines, setting up equipment, and ensuring quality through gauges and periodic TPM tasks. Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year CNC experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year CNC operation experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse facility.
• No immigration sponsorship offered (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc. not supported).

Responsibilities

• Perform machining operations on two or more CNC machines.
• Assist in setting up equipment using operation sheets, tapes, and blueprints.
• Change tooling and load automatic tool changes; verify quality with gauges.
• Assist in isolating and correcting malfunctions in machining control units.
• Perform internal operations to produce a finished product.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and move materials between stations.
• Assist TPM activities including basic maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and tightening bolts.
