Job summary
Accelera in San Jose, CA is seeking a Precision CNC Technician to transform raw materials into high-quality components within our production department. You will apply your expertise in CNC machining and blueprint interpretation to drive efficiency and ensure parts meet exacting engineering standards.
You will configure and calibrate CNC machinery, perform precision inspections with advanced measuring tools, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with engineering to optimize workflows
Qualifications
- Experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Skilled with precision measuring instruments and basic shop math.
- Safe operation of production machinery and hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Configure and calibrate CNC machinery to achieve peak operational performance and precision.
- Execute complex machining tasks based on technical drawings to deliver high-tolerance parts.
- Perform ongoing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to guarantee dimensional accuracy.
- Proactively troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to optimize production workflows and improve manufacturing output.
- Maintain a high standard of workplace safety and organization to support a productive environment.
- Utilize various hand tools and production equipment to fabricate custom fixtures and components.
