Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced engineer in Ohio to advance manufacturing processes and lead CNC programming for multi-axis mills and lathes using MasterCAM and Vericut. The role emphasizes design, tooling, and continuous improvement in a family-run aerospace setting.

You will collaborate across engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure design intent and quality standards are met, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits in a modular, supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience with MasterCAM and Vericut for CNC programming and verification.
• Proficient with CNC milling and CNC lathe operations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to meet design and quality standards.
• Program multi-axis CNC Mill & Lathe equipment using MasterCAM and Vericut.
• Design using AutoCAD Inventor or similar software.
• Serve as main contact for reverse engineering, design engineering and program management.
• Build and maintain BOMs, labor standards, and methods in ERP system.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Design and validate tooling, fixtures, gauges, and equipment.
• Support workflow and cell layout improvements.
• Analyze variances, troubleshoot machining issues, and support Supply Chain and Quality as needed.
