Job summary
ARCH Global Holdings in Newtown, CT seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design and optimize CNC milling/quality processes on Okuma, GROB and Mazak machines. You will create CNC programs with MasterCAM/Part Maker, design fixtures, support tooling, and work with machinists and inspectors to meet quality goals.
Requires a Bachelor in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering and 5+ years in a machine shop; SolidWorks proficiency and strong problem solving are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of process engineering experience in a machine shop environment.
- Experience with CNC programming and CAM software required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze specifications to determine best manufacturing methods.
- Create, implement, and troubleshoot CNC programs for startup parts.
- Design tooling and fixtures; select machines and processes.
- Collaborate with machinists, inspection, and sales for quality and feasibility.
- Develop and update process procedures; apply SPC and metrology knowledge.
- Support new product development and process improvements.
- Provide technical information to customers and internal teams.
