Job summary

Search Masters is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our precision manufacturing team in Ohio. The role focuses on developing and optimizing programs for mills and lathes, interpreting GD&T, and creating detailed work instructions for production.

You will collaborate with machinists on SOPs, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to tooling and fixture design using Catia V5. A BS in Engineering with 10+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with strong problem solving skills.
• 10+ years experience preferred.
• MASTERCAM required.
• Some 3D CAD for tooling/fixture design.
• Aerospace high-precision machining, or medical or IATF (Automotive) experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes.
• Interpret GD&T requirements.
• Create detailed work instructions to support production.
• Focus on continuous improvement through process optimization.
• Tooling/workholding development and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with machinists to develop SOPs and correct manufacturing issues.
• Tooling and fixture design using Catia V5.
