Job summary

QCC, LLC in Harwood Heights, IL is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for 2nd shift. You will manufacture parts within a cell of multiple machines, perform simple set-ups, and conduct first-piece inspections to ensure 100% quality. The role requires reading GD&T drawings and using micrometers and calipers for precise inspection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years CNC Milling / Turning experience in a job shop environment.
• Ability to read drawings and understand GD&T for close tolerances.
• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers and inspection reporting.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple or repeat set-ups and operates equipment to produce high quality parts within routed time.
• Follows documented set-up sheets and procedures.
• Reads drawings to manufacture parts to close tolerances and documents inspections.
• Conducts 1st piece inspections and records results for Quality.
