Job summary

Decavo is seeking a CNC Machining Manager to lead the machining department, oversee schedules, and drive quality and efficiency. You will provide technical leadership in CNC programming, coordinate with Engineering, and mentor a growing team in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and collaboration across departments to meet production goals and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
• Experience creating, reviewing and troubleshooting CNC programs, tooling strategies, feeds, speeds, and toolpaths.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specs, work instructions, and GD&T requirements.
• Experience leading or supervising employees in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to machining employees.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, quality and performance.
• Train and evaluate employee performance.
• Create and maintain production schedules.
• Lead/participate in interdepartmental meetings and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Engineering to improve manufacturability and tooling.
