Job summary

Decavo is seeking a CNC Machining Manager to lead the machining department, manage schedules, tooling, and quality, and provide technical leadership in CNC programming and operation to meet production demands. This hands-on role drives manufacturability, productivity, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve processes, mentor staff, and uphold safety standards while scaling operations to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience creating, reviewing and troubleshooting CNC programs, tooling strategies, feeds, speeds, and toolpaths.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to machining employees.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, quality and performance.
• Train and evaluate employee performance.
• Create and maintain production schedules.
• Lead and participate in interdepartmental meetings to align with production goals.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and tooling support in partnership with teams.
