Zusammenfassung

Jamco is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer focused on CNC machining in Everett, WA. You will own machining processes, from tooling and setups to process validation and cost improvements, while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to meet delivery goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a manufacturing-related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with strong problem-solving and documentation skills. Travel and site duties are possible.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline with 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• CNC machining/manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of tooling, workholding, GD&T, CAD/3D models, ERP systems, root-cause analysis, and aerospace practices preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple manufacturing priorities across functions.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Aufgaben

• Develop and improve CNC machining processes, including operation sequences, tooling, workholding, feeds/speeds, setup strategies, inspection requirements, and process parameters.
• Create and maintain Methods of Manufacture (MoM), routings, manufacturing instructions, and ERP documentation.
• Design or coordinate tooling, fixtures, soft jaws, gauges, and other manufacturing aids.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, blueprints, and 3D models using CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar systems.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, surface-finish, cycle-time, and machine-capability issues; lead RCA efforts.
• Support manufacturability reviews and product/process improvements to enhance quality, cost, schedule, and flow.
• Support CNC/CAM program development, estimating/quoting, setup/run-time analysis, and capacity planning.
• Lead or support cost, scrap, rework, setup-time, cycle-time, tooling, and productivity initiatives.
• Support NPI, first article, production readiness, process validation, and product transitions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and meet delivery requirements.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to production personnel and junior engineers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
