Job summary

Jabil is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and maintain machining processes across milling, turning and EDM equipment. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, data-driven process improvements, and collaboration with tool and fixture selections.

The ideal candidate has CNC programming experience, familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens controls, and CAD/CAM tools. Strong math skills and the ability to train operators are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years of related CNC experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with GD&T and metal cutting calculations (speeds/feeds/RPM).
• Experience with CNC software and programming (G/M codes).
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM post processing and Mastercam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for milling machines, lathes, EDMs and CNC equipment.
• Program, qualify, implement and debug CNC processes for new/updated machining.
• Measure parts using gauges and automated methods.
• Use data-driven decisions to improve CNC programs and tooling.
• Assist in machine/fixture/tooling selections and acceptance activities.
• Train machine operators on equipment maintenance and operation.
