REIOS Recruitment in Massachusetts seeks an experienced CNC machinist to own machining and post-processing for 3D printed production parts across aerospace, automotive, medical, and industrial sectors. You’ll program, set up, prove out, and determine how parts are held, cut, and finished.

You will write CAM programs, edit G-code, and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and a CNC lathe, with fixtures, CMM inspection, and continuous improvement shaping the process as production grows.

Qualificações

• Hands-on CNC programming and setup from drawings or models.
• 3-axis milling at minimum; 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD with GD&T.
• US citizen or green card holder; export controlled work.

Responsabilidades

• Write CAM programs and edit G-code; set up and prove out parts on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and a CNC lathe, primarily Fanuc controls.
• Design fixtures and workholding for near-net-shape printed parts that behave differently from billet.
• Machining parts on and off the build plate; wire EDM cut-off, grinding and secondary ops.
• Determine post-processing sequence and write clear work instructions for repeatability.
• Set up CMM inspection and perform first article inspections against drawings.
• Perform root cause analysis when parts are out of tolerance and communicate design changes to print team.
