REIOS Recruitment in Massachusetts seeks an experienced CNC machinist to own machining and post-processing for 3D printed production parts across aerospace, automotive, medical, and industrial sectors. You’ll program, set up, prove out, and determine how parts are held, cut, and finished.
You will write CAM programs, edit G-code, and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and a CNC lathe, with fixtures, CMM inspection, and continuous improvement shaping the process as production grows.
This is a role with a metal additive manufacturing business in Massachusetts that makes 3D printed production parts for customers in aerospace, automotive, medical and industrial, and they need someone to own the machining and post processing side of getting a printed part off the build plate and into the customer’s hands.
You’d be doing the CNC programming, setting the parts up, proving them out and running them yourself, and deciding how every printed part gets held, cut and finished. It suits an experienced CNC programmer or machinist who wants to stay close to the machines and also wants an engineering title and a real say in how the process gets built.
It’s a small engineering team and you’d be coming in early, so you get to set how machining is done as production grows and they bring technicians in.
