Oversee equipment functionality and resolve technical complications to help maximize overall shop productivity.
Promote a culture of safety by implementing and upholding rigorous protocols to help maintain a secure environment for all staff.
Perform consistent quality checks on completed parts to verify they align with established specifications and standards.
Provide guidance and instruction to staff regarding machining methods, machinery usage, and safety standards.
Work alongside production and engineering departments to refine processes and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Keep precise documentation regarding operational metrics, equipment upkeep, and staff contributions.
Support the creation and execution of production timelines to ensure customer requirements are satisfied.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated background in CNC machining, including a minimum of 3-5 years in a management or lead capacity.
Comprehensive understanding of CNC setup, operation, and programming.
Superior communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on inspiring and directing a multifaceted team.
Working knowledge of inspection methods and quality assurance procedures.
Capacity to analyze and translate complex technical blueprints and requirements.
Strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for precision.
Skilled in the application of various precision measurement instruments.
Completion of high school or equivalent education; technical credentials are considered an asset.
