Qualifications

• Conduct time studies and data analysis to identify opportunities for cycle-time reduction and better machine utilization.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to validate process improvements and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine CNC programs to facilitate seamless new product introductions and engineering design changes.
• Execute machine setups and produce first-piece components to validate tooling, work instructions, and process efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex machining, programming, and tooling challenges to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Mentor production staff on machine operation, setup procedures, and fundamental machining best practices to elevate team capability.
• Conduct detailed time studies and data analysis to identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and improved machine utilization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality and Production teams to validate process improvements and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in CNC programming, machine setup, and first-piece inspection.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience utilizing CAD/CAM software to support manufacturing workflows.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for shop floor personnel.

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven background in supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles.
• Familiarity with FeatureCam or similar advanced machining software.
• Experience establishing standard work procedures and production routers.
