Job summary

Wieland is hiring a Machine Operator in Verona, VA for a weekend shift. You will read shop drawings, program and operate CNC machines, and ensure parts meet specifications. The role requires working from written and electronic instructions and maintaining equipment and records.

Weekly schedule Friday through Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm, with bi-weekly pay. Starting pay for the weekend shift is $26.50–$29.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Arm/hand steadiness and manual dexterity required.
• Vision requirements: close, distant, color, depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and routing sheets.
• Program and set up CNC equipment; adjust tool registers and offsets.
• Operate and troubleshoot CNC machines; perform maintenance per schedule.
• Maintain records in paper or electronic form.
