Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Texas City, TX is seeking a 1st Shift CNC Machine Operator to operate CNC equipment, set up processes, and assist with warehouse tasks on-site. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00 am - 3:00 pm) and weekly pay.

You will maintain a safe work environment, load/unload material, read drawings, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality and efficiency. Prior machining experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 4 years of machining experience
• Understanding of machining principles
• Understanding of CNC controls (preferred)
• Understanding of manufacturing industries
• Experience in machining industry (preferred)
• Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings
• Ability to read a tape measure and calipers

Responsibilities

• Set up, process, and maintenance of CNC machines
• Operate CNC machines to produce finished parts
• Inspect material before and after operation for defects
• Load and unload product from machinery for processing
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment
• Operate forklifts to move material
• Report product discrepancies to management
