Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Lima, Ohio is seeking a CNC Production Operator to run mills and lathes, interpret prints, and perform gauging. Training is provided for qualified individuals and the position is on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule and a $25.32 per hour starting wage.

Responsibilities include setup, material handling, inspection, and ensuring parts meet specifications. HS diploma and CNC experience required with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; technical certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year CNC experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Set up machines by installing and aligning tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Verify dimensions and surface finishes meet print or process requirements.
• Record inspection data and report deviations or defects promptly.
• Follow and maintain quality control procedures.
