Job summary

PTMW, Inc. is seeking a competent CNC Machine Operator to join the PFAB team. The operator will safely and accurately run CNC machinery to perform drilling, grinding and milling tasks in line with blueprints and job layouts.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, keen eye for detail, and the ability to read blueprints. Responsibilities include setup, operation, inspection, and daily maintenance of equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Blueprints and mechanical drawings interpretation.
• Accurate measurement with precision tools.
• Strong math skills including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret tolerances and specs.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials into CNC machines.
• Set up machines according to blueprints or layouts.
• Operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Read blueprints to understand required results.
• Inspect finished parts and compare with specifications.
• Check and maintain machinery daily.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed.
