Job summary

Johnson Controls in Largo, FL is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in our Press Shop to fabricate precision parts for HVAC units. You will operate CNC turret presses and other metal fabrication equipment while reading blueprints and conducting quality checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of machine operation or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a non climate-controlled environment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turret presses, Brake Press, Fin Press, and other fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Perform quality checks and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
• Be flexible with overtime and shift changes as needed.
