Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in Largo, FL is seeking a night-shift Machine Operator to run CNC turret presses and other fabrication equipment for producing precision parts used in HVAC units worldwide.

You will read drawings, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting production goals and continuous improvement initiatives. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adaptability to overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 6 months of machine operation or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Comfortable with repetitive motions and working in a noisy, dusty setting.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turret presses, Brake Press, Fin Press, and other fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Perform quality checks and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
• Be flexible with overtime and shift changes as needed.
