Job summary

Dayton Superior is seeking a skilled CNC machine operator for on-site work in a fast-paced production environment. You will operate CNC machines as well as conventional equipment, ensuring parts meet specifications and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Under close supervision, you will perform measurements, document production tickets, and assist with loading/unloading materials. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and production documentation.
• Capable of standing, lifting, and moving materials (up to 50 lbs) throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned machines, including resistance welding, brake presses, and mechanical power presses. Operates saws, drills, and grinders. Consistently meets production requirements.
• Maintains clean and safe work area.
• Packing finished materials into dunnage and also loading and unloading.
• Checks that the finished workpiece conforms to the specifications.
• Completes documentation correctly for process monitors and production tickets.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and may fix issues that might occur during the shift.
