Job summary

Dayton Superior seeks a skilled machine operator to work on conventional, CNC, and other production equipment in a challenging manufacturing environment. You will operate presses, drills, grinders, and related machinery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring the finished product meets specifications, documenting production data, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capable of standing, lifting, and moving materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned machines, including conventional, CNC machines such as CNCs, brakes, and presses.
• Maintains clean and safe work area.
• Packing finished materials into dunnage and loading/unloading.
• Checks that the finished workpiece conforms to specifications.
• Completes documentation for process monitors and production tickets.
• Starts and observes machine operation and may fix issues during the shift.
