Job summary

Dayton Superior is seeking an on-site Machine Operator to operate and monitor CNC and conventional machines, including welders, brake presses, and presses. You will maintain a clean, safe workspace, document process data, and ensure finished parts meet specifications.

The role requires basic math skills, ability to read safety procedures, and 1–3 years of related experience. HS Diploma or GED is preferred and there is no travel involved.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety operating procedures.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, counting and the use of tape measure.
• 1 to 3 years' related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates machines including resistance welding, brake presses, and mechanical power presses; also operates saws, drills, and grinders.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Packs finished materials into dunnage and loads/unloads.
• Checks that the finished workpiece conforms to the specifications.
• Completes documentation for process monitors and production tickets.
• Starts and observes machine operation and fixes issues during the shift.
