Job summary

Dayton Superior is seeking an on-site machine operator to maintain and operate a range of machinery including CNC, grinders, drills, and presses. The role emphasizes meeting production requirements and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Typical duties include loading/unloading, inspecting finished parts for spec compliance, and documenting process monitors and tickets. Minimal supervision with routine checks and supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to read and understand safety operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned machines, including resistance welding, brake presses, and mechanical power presses.
• Operates saws, drills, and grinders; maintains production standards.
• Keeps work area clean and safe.
• Packages finished materials into dunnage and loads/unloads.
• Verifies finished workpiece meets specifications.
• Starts and observes machine operation and may fix issues during shift.
