Job summary

Dayton Superior is seeking an experienced machine operator to operate CNC and conventional machines in a demanding manufacturing setting. You will handle grinders, drills, and presses while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role requires the ability to read safety procedures, perform basic math, and work 50+ pounds repeatedly in a production environment. Strong adherence to procedures and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand safety operating procedures.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• 1 to 3 years' related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned machines, including resistance welding, brake presses, and mechanical power presses; meets production requirements.
• Maintains clean and safe work area.
• Packs finished materials into dunnage and loads/unloads.
• Checks that the finished workpiece conforms to specifications.
• Completes documentation for process monitors and production tickets.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and may fix issues during the shift.
