Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Carson, CA to join the Production team. The role supports day-to-day metal and felt value stream operations, with a focus on safety, learning established procedures, and meeting quality and production targets.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and offers hands-on training under supervision, with shift 1:30pm-10pm and a pay range of $22.50 + $1.00 shift differential. Benefits are available after the waiting period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain machinery.
• Basic arithmetic and computer skills; able to learn from instructions.
• Comfort using hand tooling and basic measuring equipment with attention to tolerances.
• Ability to work in a dusty, hot, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines safely and efficiently.
• Clock in/out in Shop-Trak and update project status and material moves.
• Load, unload, receive, and store raw materials.
• Prepare machines for a production cycle with calibration and cleaning.
• Use CAM programs to monitor and adjust machine settings during operation.
