NOVO PRECISION in Bristol, CT is seeking an entry-level CNC Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. You will start the machine, load material, and verify first-run pieces meet specs while reading blueprints and using measuring tools.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year CNC experience.
• Able to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Starts machine, observes operation and verifies conformance of first-run and sample work pieces to product specifications.
• Loads material into machines and checks parts.
• Operates CNC millers, lathes and saws
• Reads and understands all types of measuring equipment.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized and equipment is safe to operate
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
• Checks materials to assure that quality standards
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
