Job summary

PRL Motorsports is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join its production team on the 2nd shift. You will operate CNC equipment from setup to finish, loading materials, inspecting parts, and running test jobs to meet quality standards.

The role requires basic CNC operation, willingness to train on blueprints and precision measuring tools, and the ability to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced environment. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years CNC operation preferred but training is provided.
• Willing to work overtime if required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Blueprint reading and precision measuring (e.g., calipers, micrometers) preferred (will train).

Responsibilities

• Monitor CNC machining operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Load raw material into CNC machines; remove finished parts.
• Empty CNC chip barrels at regular intervals.
• Maintain a clean, organized machining area.
• Thoroughly clean machines and parts after machining operations.
• Perform basic maintenance on CNC machines (coolant and lubrication levels).
• Record damaged, worn, or broken parts and report as needed.
• Prepare basic reports documenting work performed.
• Keep shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies organized and stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
